Răzvan Roșu

Răzvan Roșu is a community consultant at the Vanishing Languages and Cultural Heritage Commission of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. His PhD thesis centers on archaism as an anthropological feature in the Carpathian Mountain areas, using the case study of Țara Moților (Motzenland in German). Over the last years, he has conducted field research to document the endangered language varieties and traditional music of Transylvania and other regions in Central and Southeast European countries and has also published on cultural exchange in the traditional rural communities of Transylvania.
