Raluca Cernahoschi
Dr. Raluca Cernahoschi is Associate Professor at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine (USA), where she teaches in the German and European Studies programs. Her present research focuses on German and East-Central European literature and film, with a special emphasis on the discursive construction of Transylvania and Galicia. Recent publications include articles on the Galician periphery in Joseph Roth and István Szabó, competing Romanian and Saxon depictions of Kronstadt/Brașov in interwar anthologies, and the deployment of heterotopic space in Mihail Sebastian’s novel Accidentul [The Accident].
