Sonja Jerković

Sonja Jerković, born 1970, is a research associate. She completed her history studies at the University of Belgrade and earned her PhD in 2018 with a thesis on the National Bank of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (Yugoslavia) from 1918 to 1931. She worked as an archivist at the Historical Archives of Belgrade from 1995 to 2005, and since 2005, she has been working at the Archive of the National Bank of Serbia, where she has been the head of the Archives since 2013. Her research focuses on the social, economic, and financial history of Serbia and Yugoslavia in the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.
